Paddle, Competition & Community: Foundation Paddle Classic Serves Up a Successful Day for Education Enrichment

The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation’s annual Foundation Paddle Classic, presented by Vulcan, Inc., brought players, supporters and community members together on Saturday, August 22, for a day of friendly competition, connection and fun on the courts.

Held at the City of Foley Pickleball Courts, the tournament welcomed players across a range of skill levels and age divisions, with competitors battling through round-robin and playoff play while supporting the Foundation’s mission to invest in education and opportunities for students and teachers throughout South Baldwin County.

While the competition was a highlight, the Paddle Classic was ultimately about community coming together to support education.

We loved seeing the Baldwin County Solid Waste Authority bring its Waste & Recycling Mobile Adventure, giving players and spectators an interactive opportunity to learn more about waste reduction and recycling while enjoying the tournament.
