Our South Baldwin Chamber Foundation Junior Ambassadors are always finding ways to connect with their community, and continuing a beloved tradition, this year’s Hometown Halloween was no exception!

Hosted by the City of Foley, the annual family-friendly block party once again filled the streets with laughter, costumes, and candy galore. Each year, our Junior Ambassadors volunteer their time to help make the evening extra special, and this class proudly carried on that legacy. They offered face painting, Halloween-themed temporary tattoos, and sweet treats for all the little ghosts and goblins who stopped by.

For our students, events like Hometown Halloween are more than just volunteer hours; they’re opportunities to make lasting memories, share joy, and experience firsthand the impact of community involvement. One of the most fulfilling aspects of volunteering is witnessing the happiness you bring to others — and for our JAs, the smiles on children’s faces were a powerful reminder of just that. They realized their efforts went beyond the fun activities; they were helping create lasting memories for local families.

The Hometown Halloween block party continues to serve as a shining example of how community events can unite people and celebrate the spirit of giving back. It also highlights the importance of youth participation in local initiatives and the positive influence it has on both the volunteers and the broader community.

We’re so proud to see our Junior Ambassadors carrying forward this tradition of service, connection, and community spirit. Proving once again that the future of South Baldwin is in great hands.
