Celebrating Success: Elberta High School's Top Scholars Honored at 69th Annual Academic Banquet

An evening dedicated to achievement, ambition, and the bright future of South Baldwin unfolded as the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce and Foundation honored Elberta High School’s highest-achieving seniors during the 69th Annual Academic Banquet.

Surrounded by family, educators, business leaders, and community supporters, eight outstanding seniors were recognized for their unwavering dedication to academic excellence and their commitment to challenging coursework throughout their high school journey. Each student received a distinguished academic sash — a symbol of countless hours of hard work, perseverance, and determination.

More than just a recognition ceremony, the banquet offered a meaningful look into the lives and aspirations of these remarkable students. As each honoree shared reflections on their experiences, future goals, and the people who helped shape their success, the evening became a celebration not only of achievement but also of purpose, leadership, and possibility.

A special moment of the evening recognized Elberta High School’s Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Togneri.
